Words to Useinstead of Beautiful for Baby Girls

Our Free March Telephone Background is Here!

Throughout the day I've been catching myself say this to our 18-calendar month-former daughter quite frequently. With every affirmation using the words beautiful, pretty, or beautiful that rolls off my tongue, a piddling pang in my heart tells me something isn't right. My centre tells me to cull phrases that speak more power and more purpose.

Don't get it twisted. I'm not banning these words from my vocabulary or judging the use of them past any means. We can give our girls compliments pertaining to looks; however, the focus on appearance should not stand at the forefront.

From experience, I acknowledge to the difficulty of choosing the best vocabulary. Sometimes the same words only skid out without a second thought. My hubby and I chose to be more purposeful when speaking to our daughter. Nosotros compiled a list of helpful phrases to begin affirming our girl at a young age, throughout growth and into womanhood.

We put the listing on our fridge to remind us daily. Some days nosotros use a handful of affirmations and some days we employ all twenty. Instead of saying "yous're cute" or "y'all're so beautiful" we do using empowering phrases that will hopefully teach her to expect beyond her concrete appearance, toward her intelligence, capabilities, and eye.

These qualities will brand a deviation in the end, not a new haircut, latest make upwardly trend, wearable way or symmetry of facial features. Continual emotional support or encouragement not only strengthens your child's emotions, it strengthens their emotions afterwards they turn into adults.

I urge you lot, if y'all're not already, to give these affirmations to your girls too.

  1. You have the power to change the world.
  2. You are unlike any other.
  3. You take a cute soul.
  4. You're then smart.
  5. Be yourself no matter what.
  6. You lot take the power to help others.
  7. You lot are going to motility mountains.
  8. You are stiff.
  9. You have a loving heart.
  10. Yous mean the earth to the states.
  11. Nosotros're thankful God gave you to us.
  12. Yous have the best sense of humor.
  13. You lot have a not bad laugh.
  14. Yous are very loved.
  15. Y'all give fantastic hugs.
  16. We are proud of you.
  17. You did a great chore!
  18. You are deserving of kindness.
  19. God loves y'all.
  20. You have an amazing imagination.

Don't reserve these affirmations for just your loved ones. Yous can give them to the piffling ones at schoolhouse, in your play grouping, at church, or at the park. The more nosotros give, the amend future for our girls and for our globe.

These are only twenty phrases to help be enlightened of and ameliorate upon affirmations given to our daughter. Feel free to share your own in the comments beneath.

These qualities will make a difference in the end, not a new haircut, latest make up trend, clothing style or symmetry of facial features. Continual emotional support or encouragement not only strengthens your child's emotions, it strengthens their emotions after they turn into adults.
